The League of Women Voters of Fresno is a nonprofit, nonpartisan political organization encouraging informed and active participation in government. We influence public policy through education and advocacy.
The League shall not support or oppose any political party or any candidate. The Board and each member shall have the responsibility to maintain the non-partisanship of the organization.
At the June 2023 meeting, Fresno County Supervisors accepted comments to the draft EIR for the General Plan Review and Zoning Ordinance. Here is the link to the League of Women Voters of Fresno County letter on the report.
In addition to the study guide that the League published that shows all the proposed changes to policies and implementation programs, the League is writing articles to highlight different aspects of these documents. Three articles are coming out
